BlueYou implements Integrated Mangrove Aquaculture (IMA) to restore mangroves inside degraded shrimp ponds while enabling sustainable shrimp, fish and crab production. The organisation works with smallholder pond farmers to improve water quality and habitat, increase yields without feed or chemicals, and link producers to premium certified seafood markets. Its approach promotes coastal ecosystem recovery, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration while improving local livelihoods through higher-value market access for seafood producers.
