Canada Growth Fund

Government-backed fund with a $15-billion capital mandate to catalyze private sector investment in Canadian low-carbon businesses, projects and supply chains to accelerate emissions reductions. CGF uses instruments that absorb risk (including up to $7 billion allocated for contracts for difference and offtake agreements) to de-risk clean growth projects. CGF was established as a subsidiary of Canada Development Investment Corporation (CDEV) in December 2022; PSP Investments provides investment management through its wholly owned subsidiary Canada Growth Fund Investment Management Inc. (CGFIM). CGF announced its inaugural $90-million investment in Eavor Technologies Inc. on October 25, 2023.
