Madica (by Flourish Ventures)

Launched in 2022, Madica is a pan-African, sector-agnostic pre-seed structured investment programme that provides up to $200,000 per startup and an 18-month support programme including a tailored curriculum, hands-on mentorship, executive coaching, access to a global investor network, and fully-funded immersion trips. It focuses on underrepresented founders and underserved regions and has a strategic partnership with the African Business Angel Network (ABAN). Eligible startups typically have an MVP (ideally with paying customers), a full-time founder commitment, limited prior institutional funding, and are led by African founders.
