Mercado Pago

Mercado Pago is the digital payments and banking unit of Mercado Libre that provides a full suite of financial services across Latin America. It operates digital wallets, payment processing and checkout APIs, merchant point-of-sale solutions (including QR and Point devices), card products, consumer and merchant credit (Mercado Crédito), investment tools and crypto trading in selected markets. The platform serves both consumers and businesses with merchant services, payment gateway capabilities and developer APIs, and is pursuing banking expansion—including applying for a banking license in Argentina—to expand its digital-bank product offering.
