Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is an Indian government department responsible for welfare, social justice and empowerment policies for disadvantaged groups. It designs and implements programmes across disability support, social inclusion, and capacity-building initiatives, and engages with civil society and industry partners to operationalise national social welfare schemes.
