MoBFIT (Mobile Business Financial Information Tool) is a Ugandan AgTech that developed an SMS-based agricultural marketplace connecting smallholder farmers directly with produce buyers. It also uses location data to group produce from nearby farmers, helping buyers aggregate volumes and plan procurement. The business model generates revenue through sales commissions, advertising and subscription fees.
