Mulago Foundation

Mulago is a private foundation designed and built to carry on the life work of Rainer Arnhold. Rainer’s passion was the prospect of a better life for children in poverty, and so the Foundation’s work is focused on health, poverty, and conservation in the world’s poorest places. Mulago looks for organizations built around a big idea and focused on maximum social impact. Our job is to find the organizations best able to create change and give them what they need to do it. We fund on the basis of impact and the potential for scale. We do it with unrestricted funds and minimal hassle.
