Nova Spectral AI develops lead-free colloidal quantum dot short-wave infrared (SWIR) image sensor chips on standard silicon CMOS. Its sensors are designed to help cameras and physical AI systems capture images in challenging conditions such as low light, smoke, haze, dust, and fog. The company targets defence intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), drones, robotics, autonomous vehicles, smartphones, and wearables, with the goal of making SWIR imaging more affordable and scalable.
