ROLO Robotics

MAYA is described as a fully integrated autonomous fast-food kiosk that freshly prepares combo meals (fried chicken, fries and a beverage) with customizable options for seasoning, sauce and crispiness. The system uses a robotic arm to fry, mix and serve; a typical kiosk prepares a meal in ~4 minutes. Rolo Robotics positions the product as a 'kiosk kitchen' vending unit (first unveiled at Singapore University of Technology and Design) targeting micro communities, mobility hubs (metros, airports, train stations), convenience retail (convenience stores, petrol stations) and education & healthcare sites. The company has partnered with component supplier igus® and used 3D printing to speed prototyping and development.
