Tyme Group (formerly TymeGlobal / TYME)

Tyme Group (formerly TymeGlobal / TYME) is a digital banking group that designs, builds, and operates low-cost challenger banks in emerging markets across Africa and Asia. Originally spun out in South Africa in 2012 as a Deloitte fintech venture named TYME ("Take Your Money Everywhere"), the company underwent acquisitions by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (operating as TymeDigital) and later Patrice Motsepe’s African Rainbow Capital before restructuring into its current global entity. GoTyme Bank South Africa (formerly TymeBank) is the flagship South African operating subsidiary of Tyme Group and the country’s first fully digital retail bank.
