Venture Capital Ghana

Venture Capital Trust Fund (VCTF), often referred to as Venture Capital Ghana, is a government-backed fund of funds established to drive economic growth and innovation by providing financing to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Created by the Venture Capital Trust Fund Act (Act 680) of 2004, VCTF deploys patient capital and technical support through locally managed Venture Capital Finance Companies (VCFCs). It is the cornerstone institution for developing Ghana's private equity, angel investing, and venture capital ecosystem.
